NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Town Board Meeting for the Town of Port Wing, in the county of Bayfield, State of Wisconsin, for transaction of business as is by law required or permitted to be transacted at such meeting will be held via Zoom Meeting on the internet.

Anyone is welcome to join us.  You will need to know the app meeting ID and the meeting Password.  Please check our local postings (Post Office, Bank, Town Hall or Johnson’s Store) for these or call Marge at 715-774-3624 to request them.

FOR THE PURPOSE OF:

READING OF THE MINUTES, AND TREASURER’S REPORTS.

CITIZEN’S INPUT :  Sue Anderson – speed bumps/road signs Memorial Park.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:  Hiring of an Engineer for Kinney Valley Bridge Project.

Bayfield County Health Department – latest rules and conditions – social distancing, etc.

Health infrastructure Grant will not be awarded this year.

Fire Department did receive the grant ($3,000.00) from Security State Bank.

Alcohol, Cigarette and Operator licenses have been distributed.

NEW BUSINESS:       New procedure for assessing the Local Road Improvement Program.

Review rates and charges by road crew/snow-plowing/mowing/equipment use/cemetery/harbor.

Received signed agreement from USDA Forest Service for Battle Axe Road # 246

Wastewater Facility Inspection – WPDES permit needs to be renewed.

PILT payment to be included with payment from County.

Cemetery report by Leann Hess

Ambulance report – 5 calls from Port Wing

ZONING ;    Mike Foley – 7560 Quarry Shores
