Town of Port Wing Election Policy

2/11/2014 - ELECTIONS It is now a law in the State of Wisconsin that everyone must be registered to vote. If you are not already pre-registered, you can register at the polling place on Election Day, be sure to bring your Driver’s license or some other proper form of identification with you. If you would like to register ahead of time just call the clerk to make an appointment or ask any questions; Marge Ogren - 715-774-3624.

If you wish to vote absentee for any election, you first need to be registered and then you will need to fill out an application for an absentee ballot. You can find this application on the State Elections Board website; Then you can fill out the form and mail it to the clerk;

Or call the clerk at 715-774-3624 to make an appointment. Be sure to allow plenty of time as any absentee ballots received after Election Day cannot be counted. Absentee voting must be done on or before the Friday before the Election Day.

The polling place is located at the Port Wing Town Hall at the corner of State Highway 13 and Grand Avenue. The polling hours are from 7:00am until 8:00pm.
